Cole is one of the best point guards in the asian basketball world. He has great leadership skills and makes great decisions on the court. Cole has the quickness to penetrate and finish tough layups. He is sneaky relentless defender that can fustrate his opponents. Cole is small but he makes up for it with his high energy and tenacity on the court. He is currently a Senior at UC Merced. Also Cole help lead the Barons to a number 1 ranking in 2018.

22. Richard Hu

Richard is an exciting, athletic, and quick basketball player that stretches the floor on the fast break. He has a nice outside shot to go with his slashing abilities to get to the rim. Richard was chosen to be part of Cambodia's National Basketball Team for the upcoming 2019 SEA Games in the Philipines. Richard is outstanding football player also, and has won many flag football tournaments. If he ever focuses on just basketball he most likely would be ranked higher. He is a winner in anything he does. Richard is just an overall great athlete!

23. CJ Brown

last team/Sacramento Barons

CJ was one of the leaders on Barons team that helped them win the Asian National Champioships in 2018! He has a smooth style that allows to score from anywhere on the court. His defense is almost better than his offense. He might be one of the top defensive players in the country. Also he has the clutch ability to make big shots in the biggest games. CJ and the Barons look to rebound after a dissapointing 2019 season.

24. Bo Noung

position/guard

height/5'10

weight/160

age/42

nationality/Cambodian

location/Georgia

last team/Asianballers

This ranking for this player will most likely bring the most controversy! Bo at the age of 42 still can put up buckets with the best players in the country. His ability to defend and competitive drive to out hustle his opponents is his best attribute!  He is crafty around the basket and has the ol school mid range jumper that can fustrate defenders. Bo is the oldest player in this ranking, we will see if he can continue to play against this new generation.

25. Jonathon Chu

If you are looking for player who has great basketball IQ and understanding of how to win, you will find these traits in Jonathon Chu. He is a hard nose basketball player that just might be one of the top snipers in the country! Jonathon has helped the Sleeping Pandas become a household name and become the best team in Asian Basketball for the United States! He is a great thinker and has the passion for the game to compete at the highest level.

26. Noah Connor

position/guard

height/6'1

weight/170

age/20

location/California

last team/Canada

or Noah made his debut for the well established Cali Dynasty Team at the ABCNA Tournament June 2019. He helped them go undefeated all the way to the championship game and had their only lost to the Sleeping Pandas. Noah's outstanding outside shooting was one of the reasons why they had so much success. Noah in his last college season averaged 11.8 points per game. Once he gets more experience and build up his strength around the basket, Noah has chance to be one of the players in the country!

27. Shun Gokita

position/guard

height/5'11

weight/180

age/31

nationality/Japanese

location/Georgia

last team/GT

Shun Gokita looks like some guys who just reads books and goes to Dragoncon in his spare time. But when Shun puts on his basketball shoes he puts up 30 or more points in a blink of an eye. Not very loud or emotional on the court (almost like the Kawhi Leonard in personality) but he is very crafty and deadly with the ball. An outstanding ball hawk on the boards and can finish very well close at the basket. When the game is on the line, Shun is one of the most clutch players in Atlanta history. If he was more aggresive in personality, he probably would be ranked higher, because there is not a shot he can't make!

28. Jimmy Miyasaka

position/guard-forward

height/6’2

weight/185

age/?

nationality/Japanese

location/Hawaii

last team/Menehunes

Dr. Jimmy is a veteran asianballer who is the owner/founder of the Menehunes Basketball Organization. But Jimmy on the court is a tremendous competitor and winner! Jimmy's smooth style of play allows him to put up points effortlessly. He is well respected for his leadership skills and all-round basketball game. Jimmy's team is currently ranked in the top ten and just maybe one season away from being the top team in the nation.

29. Jose Nouchanthavong

position/guard

height/6’2

weight/175

age/26

nationality/Laotion

location/Massachusetts

last team/Methodist Hawks

Jose has been under the radar in Asian basketball, but he is making noise now by winning a championship overseas in Indonesia. Currently he is playing for the Methodist Hawks, and helping them to a championship. At 6’2 he has the height to be an elite guard in Asia. With good ball handling and nice athleticism, he will only get better with more experience.

Jose is from Lowell, Massachusetts and played college ball for the Southern Maine Huskies. His senior year averaged 18.2 points and 4.5 assists. Jose is has many years left in his basketball career and Laos needs to recruit him for their National team.

30. Eric Ambrosio

position/guard

height/5’7

weight/160

age/24

nationality/Philippino

location/GA

last team/Pfeifer University, NC

Eric is always improving year after year with his game. He is finishing up his college career at Pfiefer University and averaged 8.9 points last season. In the asian league in Atlanta he averaged over 30 points per game in a few games played. Eric has tremendous handles and finishes well going to the basket, but needs to work on decision making and turnovers. He has great athleticism and strength for his size. He has a good long range shot but needs to be more consistent if wants to play pro somewhere. But he is still young, and will hopefully tune up his game. He has yet to play in any major asian basketball tournaments, so most players do not know much about him till now.
